Yes. Authors seeking an interview to discuss their book must provide either a physical or digital copy of the book for review prior to the interview. This allows our team to become familiar with your work and prepare a meaningful conversation.

Not necessarily. Geaux Queen considers guests based on their story, expertise, relevance, and alignment with our audience and editorial focus. Editorial interviews are not the same as paid promotional opportunities.

A podcast episode represents more than the time spent recording the conversation. Each episode requires preparation, scheduling, production, editing, publishing, and promotional work. If the primary purpose of a request is to promote a book, product, business, service, event, launch, or other offering, the opportunity may be considered a paid promotional feature to account for the additional promotional value and production involved.

If a fee applies, those details will be provided before any commitment is made.

Geaux Queen Media is an established media platform with a seven-year podcast history and an editorial ecosystem that extends across our podcast and magazine. We have had the opportunity to feature guests and talent connected to respected networks (OWN Tv, Amazon Prime, WE TV, BET, etc.) and media brands, and we receive multiple interview and feature pitches each week.

Because of the volume of requests we receive, it would not be possible for us to accept every submission as unpaid editorial coverage. Our editorial opportunities are carefully selected based on story relevance, audience alignment, timing, and the overall editorial direction of Geaux Queen.

Earned editorial coverage is not a free submission option or a service that can be requested simply by labeling an inquiry as “earned media.” Earned coverage is determined and selected by Geaux Queen based on our own editorial considerations.

When an individual, author, business, brand, or organization approaches Geaux Queen specifically seeking visibility for a book, product, service, event, launch, or other offering, the request may instead be considered a paid promotional opportunity.

Selected podcast conversations may also be adapted for our magazine, allowing certain stories to receive additional editorial exposure across the Geaux Queen Media platform.

If your request is selected as an editorial opportunity, we will let you know. If it is determined to be promotional, we will provide the applicable fee and deliverables before you make any commitment.

 Our team will review your submission. If we believe your story is a strong fit for an upcoming conversation, we’ll contact you with the next steps. 

Approved guests will receive additional information about the interview, including scheduling, recording details, promotional information, and the materials we’ll need from you.

We encourage guests to share their Geaux Queen conversation with their audience and network. We believe the best media opportunities are mutually beneficial, and sharing your episode helps us introduce your story to more people. 

Geaux Queen records episodes in advance, and approved guests are added to our production and publishing queue. Because episodes are scheduled based on our editorial calendar, production schedule, and existing recordings, publication may take up to six weeks after recording. We appreciate your patience while we prepare each episode for publication and promotion.
